Recent Spanish Cinema Los Angeles

Los Angeles Recent Spanish Cinema is one of the longest-running annual exhibitions for Spanish cinema in the United States.

Every October since 1994, the heart of Hollywood rolls out the red carpet to enjoy the best in Spanish filmmaking.

The exhibition has a sister event in Miami, with which it shares the distinctive line-up of guests from Spanish filmmaking each year, offering a selection of hit current Spanish films, with the American Cinematheque in charge of their presentation in Los Angeles.

Top talents like Carmen Maura, Álex de la Iglesia, Bigas Luna, Fernando Trueba, Vicente Aranda, Javier Fesser, Fernando León de Aranoa, Luis Tosar, Eduardo Noriega, among many others, have attended this exhibition, leaving their personal stamp on it. Added to these names each year are other time-honored artists along with promising newcomers, who delight us with the stories of their experiences in the films in which they star and have made.
